Who Are Your Top 10 Players All Time (In Order)?

This is my attempt:
1) Michael Jordan
2) Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
3) LeBron James
4) Wilt Chamberlain
5) Bill Russell
6) Tim Duncan
7) Magic Johnson
8) Shaquille O'Neal
9) Larry Bird
10) Kobe Bryant

Just missed the cut:
11) Hakeem Olajuwon
12) Jerry West
13) Oscar Robertson
14) Stephen Curry
15) Karl Malone

It's really tough to leave the latter players, but the top-10 can only include 10 players, not 15 Imo there are some players whose positions on the list could be interchangeable (for instance, Olajuwon could make the top-10 easily, or LeBron and Kareem could swap their places, etc). Now, if Curry wins another Ring and/or MVP, he can definitely make the top-10, but someone must be kicked out (in theory Kobe).

It's not an easy task, picking the players for the top-10. And I'd say, a matter of taste also.

100% agreement, some people don't realize how incredibly hard it is to pick just 10 players from the whole NBA history.

Alcindor had a great college career, perhaps the greatest ever.
But his pro career was quite short, actually.

Good catch @Freypies, I also had Duncan repeated as well. I was having trouble breaking down my best ever list and sort of lumped some guys into categories. To me, a lot of these guys are interchangeable to a degree. The only absolutely obvious top 10 are MJ/ LBJ/ KAJ. I sort of have a few guys in the rung below; my 4-8 are Magic, Bird, Kareem, Curry, Shaq. Then I have Kobe, Duncan Durant and Kawhi (possibly KG) thenthe last group has a number of guys that could be included, but from my rough list above, DrJ, Admiral, Greek and Joker.
