Michael Jordan/Horace Grant vs James Harden/Kevin Garnett

I've always been of the mind that KG, a player ideally suited to being a pick & roll partner with a good offensive guard, only got 1 season of this (healthy Sam Cassell in 2004). Terrell Brandon couldn't get to the rim his whole career, and by the time he got to KG he couldn't finish in the paint at all.

That is all to say, I'd love seeing him next to Harden for an extended run.

I'm a Horace Grant fan, but I just don't see what the point of this comparison is, and can't help but be suspicious that it's just "is Jordan better than 2 other MVP level players?" the answer is no.
