I say personally that Oscar wins 2 to 4 rings with Westbrook's teams from 2009 to 2022.
2008 thunder with 1960-1961 Oscar- they most likely make the playoffs but lose in the first round.
2009-2010 thunder with 1961-1962 Oscar they probably beat the Lakers and make the finals before losing to Boston.
2011 thunder with 1962-1963 Oscar probably beat the Mavs in the WCF and then go on to beat the Heat in the finals.
2012 thunder with 1963-1964 Oscar most likely win the title over the Heat in six games.
2013 Thunder with 1964-1965 Oscar probably make it to the WCF before losing to the Spurs.
2014 thunder with 1965-1966 Oscar - most likely win the title over the Heat.
2015 Thunder with 1966-1967 Oscar lose in the first round.
2016 thunder with 1967-1968 Oscar make it to the finals before losing to the Cavs.
2017 thunder still lose in the first round with 1968-1969 oscar or miss the playoffs.
2018 Thunder most likely lose in the second round.
2019 Thunder most likely lose in the second round
2020 Rockets with Oscar most likely still lose to LA but this time in six or seven
If Oscar replaced Westbrook on his teams from 2009 to 2022 how many rings does he win.

Reggie Jackson is amazing and a killer in the clutch that's all.

Well, Oscar was significantly better player than Westbrook, so you can only imagine how good him + KD would be.

He was also a competent jump shooter, and was a better playmaker earlier in his career. I think that a lot of things would have gone smoother for the Thunder with the Big O replacing pre-2017 Westbrook.

KD would leave halfway during their tenure because he doesn't want to play second fiddle to Oscar Robertson

Nah because its likely they win by 2011 and almost certainly by 2012 or 2013. In fact, they have a good chance in 2010 as well.

I share your concerns about KD leaving but it isn't so much being overshadowed as it is the yipping. My understanding is that Oscar was similar to Chris Paul in that both constantly critique their teammates. And overtime that wears on all people, especially highly competent people, even if the critiques are right.

I can see 1-2 titles. He's a 6'5" version of CP3 with solid shooting, very good FT shooting and can post-up guys his size or smaller on the regular. Obviously one of the elite, all-time passers/playmakers. I don't think he'd have a problem feeding Durant to score either if it meant he didn't have to put up 30 every night (had no issues with Kareem).

With regards to deferring to Kareem he really didn't have much of a choice at that stage of his career given he was without a title for a decade prior and his window was closing.
Oscar I've read in the past from numerous sources (can't remember where specifically) was a notoriously demanding leader that could be very critical of/harsh on teammates he felt weren't playing up to par.
I'm not sure how thin skinned KD would react. He seems to have had issues with teammates on different teams and also being criticized by anyone.

For sure in his prime was a very demanding perfectionist. But I think he would see how skilled/talented KD is and would work with him.
