2012 has peak LeBron, but I think 2022 has the more talented team. I think 2012 would've been much better served having Wade instead of Kobe.

Would make for a hell of a series.

Can I swap Kobe for Wade or put KG at PF and move KD to SG instead of Kobe?

Currently the 2022 team just is much more of a fit I think.

You would swap out peak LeBron for 2012 KG?

If I wanted the team to be way worse yes.

2012 Kobe was not good. By this time Kobe's defense was completely cooked even if he'd taken a smaller offensive load. Besides what is Kobe actually doing on this team? CP3/LeBron are better passers and KD/LeBron are better scorers.

Plus the Luka-Giannis P&R with either as the ball handler would be completely indefensible.

How is 2022 more talented?

2012 team won an Olympic gold medal without HCA, while team 2022 has not and won't. Clear edge for 2012 there.
This place is a cesspool of mindless ineptitude, mental decrepitude, and intellectual lassitude. I refuse to be sucked any deeper into this whirlpool of groupthink sewage. My opinions have been expressed. I'm going to go take a shower.

You're not taking into account that nobody on the 2012 team had been vaccinated for, let alone got natural immunity against, the novel coronavirus COVID-19. It's very likely that in a head-to-head matchup, team 2012 would be ravaged by plague and team 2022 would advance by default
