Wall was the more talented and impactful but often that impact was negative as he liked to play hero ball and take a lot of mediocre midrange shots (some of his coaches actually encouraged that). With better coaching this would be him; with bad coaching he's Russell Westbrook lite. He also played better defense and has more of a history of injury.
Beal does less things well but fits in better as a guard who can score with decent secondary playmaking and he did have two straight 30+ ppg seasons.
