What should Luka be ranked in 2K at the moment?

What makes this measure a decent measurement of this player's ability? What criteria does it use? Does it merely look at box score or does it have RAPM type analysis built in? Why should this be here rather than in the Gamer's Lounge (in the Off Topic board)?

If you have answers, let us know or I will move it there where it's a better fit.

1) Since we don't know the algorithm(s - last I heard, some time ago, it depended on position) that turn the individual ratings into the overall player rating ... I don't know. They should get those right to create a player that plays like Luka, at a Luka-like level, producing Luka-like stats and impact, rather than start with overall.

2) Then this is, to my mind, probably the wrong question. Even with in season updates you shouldn't just be going off the season so far. If a previously average guy starts the season really hot over 12 games, I think most still want the prior from previous seasons to (clearly) the greater pull than assuming players will sustain at the 12 game sample numbers (shooting especially is a huge part of the game, but fluctuates a lot).
