I'll just take Dirk's FT%, inject it into Gianni and he'd potentially carve out a GOAT-case career.
Then again, Durant with Ticket's strength, tenacity and defensive instinct could also do the same.
Giannis Antenowitzki. Kevin Garant. The name mash-up is the draw of this exercise.

Re: Giannis Nowitzki vs Kevin Durant Garnett
Assuming we’re talking a 5 on 5 game and not 2 vs 2, it’s Giannis/Dirk rather easily. Both dudes are team first, unselfish, leadership sort of guys you can build a champion around more easily. That’s not necessarily a knock on Durant/KG but when it comes to winning/leadership/team-1st/low ego superstars Dirk & Giannis set the standard.
Plus even offensively - you have 2 guys to create in the clutch and get buckets. Garnett is not a guy to get buckets, so suddenly Durant becomes the main guy to score down the stretch. He can do that sure but his track record as the #1 guy without another offensive superstar is not great.
I just don’t see a well structured team around Giannis/Dirk losing.
