I could see it with him winning a mvp and the Lakers cruising through the west that had all 8 playoff teams winning 50-57 games.

Even in 2008?
You need to poster what happens if Cleveland trades for Gasol.
Yea I think bean is in a tier of his own in 08 at an all time level and kg cp3 dirk and bron (maybe TD) are playing at mvp levels
Bron’s jumper still hadn’t developed all the way and his defense didn’t take that jump yet

You should know how your exchange with Colbinii started:ceoofkobefans wrote:This isn’t a hot take Kobe was at least a tier above LeBron every year until 2009
So, actually everything started with the word "tier".
He was trying to say that the only reason why LBJ didn't go further in the playoffs was because he didn't have enough help, and that's the constant theme on this forum.
No, he didn't say that.People believe that the only way LBJ can lose is when the deck is stacked against him. That's not quite true. For example, I don't think that Orlando team in 2008 was a too big of a obstacle to overcome. How many superstars did they have?
LeBron lost against Celtics in 2008, not Magic.
Yes, you are right, I didn't notice the word tier being mentioned and I disagree with that post because obviously both of them were top tier. I also mixed up seasons, but LBJ was better in 2008-2009 season compared to a previous one, so my point remains the same.
While they were both the top tier players in the league that’s not what I mean I think Kobe is in a tier of his own in 08 although they’re both obviously top 5 players
