Replacing Shaq with 85 Kareem
How far can the Suns go with a half season with Kareem assuming he average around same numbers in 85??

Re: 08 Suns with 85 Kareem
Shaq was kind of ass that year from what I remember. The Suns went 18-10 with him in the regular season and 37-17 without him. Was he even better than Marion that year? I was doubtful of it at that the time.
Now with 1985 Kareem he was also quite a bit past his prime, lost a lot of mobility on defense but still a better player than Shaq was.
They underperformed quite a bit in the playoffs, and Spurs beat them pretty decisively. They possibly end up with the best record considering they were only 2 wins behind it, but regardless they lose to the Spurs or Lakers still imo. Kareem at that stage isn’t giving them the defense they need.
