I have KG and Dirk ahead of Kobe for the 2000s

I understand why so many people in this forum are so high in Kg and in turn have Kg over Kobe but the argument for dirk over Kobe just doesn’t make sense for me EVEN IF you think dirk is a better scorer Kobe is still clear as a playmaker which makes him a better offensive player and Kobe is the better defender

from 2000-2010 Kobe made 7 finals and won 5 championships, there is no argument for KG/Dirk.

@ceo I don't disagree with having Kobe > Dirk for the decade, I simply believe to have Dirk ahead of him [and obviously very close].

I think Kobe > KG but I understand what the arguments are. If you’re high on the 2 O 1 D archetype then I’m fine with kg > Kobe at least p4p (I’d still take Kobe for the decade).

I mean to be fair Kobe is the one leading them to half of those finals and rings but just saying oh player a has better team accomplishments so he is > than player b is a pretty dumb and disingenuous argument TD aren’t perfect in the finals in the 00s on 3 attempts and Shaq went to 5 finals and won 4 so are they better than Kobe? And why stop at finals? Why not look at how good of regular season success they had or how far they went each year?
