Would Curry replace Magic as the best PG with one more FMVP?

So your argument is that Magic faced less pressue on perimeter? Then I definitely agree with that, but he was also focused on finding open man inside the packed paint with very limited spacing. As I said, passing required different skills back then than now and I don't see Curry doing much better under these circumstances. He certainly wouldn't approach Magic as a passer.

well in this case, curry himself is serving as the big source of spacing right? Don't think he approaches him as a passer neccesarily, but i could absolutely see him out-creating magic or really anyone in history(era-relative).

could you link some clips of the types of passes that were harder back then as opposed to now?

He is a source of spacing, but one player can't create spacing when the rest plays inside.

I don't have much time recently for film studies, but it's basically any of typical Magic inside passes when he found open man in crowded paint.

Whenever a player is doubled he creates spacing, particularly away from the inside; with the screens Curry constantly creates different mismatch for himself and teammates, which often turns to be spacing
