Better shooter, I prefer his passing in non drive and kick situations, better footwork/size to work in the low/mid post. Generally a more varied offensive game, arguably a bit more defense agnostic due to that. Defensively I don’t see a ton of clear advantages.
I bought a boat.

I prefer Kobe's offensive game in a vacuum to Wade, particularly Kobe's variety of offensive skills allows him to be an extremely resilient player offensively against a multitude of defensive strategies.
Kobe's shooting range and vision, particularly operating anywhere from the high post to the low block, gives him a leg-up on Wade in half-court sets.
Kobe is a better on-ball defender which has value over Wade's defensive style [more value loaded into the off-ball aspect] in certain situations.
I think Kobe may be the GOAT Wing at operating with a +passing big man [Shaq and Gasol].

I think 99 and 200 Kobe is a better better on-ball defender than Wade ever was.
I think Kobe is a better tough shot-maker.
I think Kobe is more scalable.
I think Kobe has a more varied game in the post.
I think Kobe has better durability/longevity.
I think Kobe is better at navigating screens probably when he applies himself.

Re: What are some offensive/defensive advantages Kobe has over Wade?
Offense:
Off-ball movement (sans to-the-rim cutting, where Wade >)
Curling off of screens
Catch and shoot Game
Jump-shooting (2P and 3P)
Connective Passing
Post/Back-to-Basket game
Quick-touch scoring and decision making (probably falls under all of these)
Defense:
Screen Navigation
On-Ball Technique
Ball denial
Note, defense is in reference to younger Kobe seen in 1999 and 2000. When looking at defensive value with an offensive load for both, the edge I give to Kobe only applies for communication - perhaps on-ball defense, but I think his motor is sporadic.

I've linked this video in a few Kobe Bryant discussions on here, feel like it would be a great share in this convo as well
