I don't think he can be my GOAT at this point. If he wants to be for others, he'll need to keep up this level of play for a handful of years and then have some new revolutionary impact/advanced stat come out that labels him as the GOAT. Then the tide would turn quick.

I think you are hitting on something interesting here. It's less about how much more Curry can achieve (agree that a few more high level seasons doesn't hurt) and more about some potential paradigm shift in how people evaluate basketball

Re: What more does Curry need to do to be your GOAT?
I'm as much a Curry fan as anyone, but there's no way for him to become the GOAT. The more relevant question is how high he can go on your all-time list and what he would need to do to get there.
For me, Kareem, Russell, Jordan, and LeBron is a tier he can't break into.
Wilt was listed behind Duncan on the most recent top 100 project, but I have Wilt ahead of Duncan on my list. I'm doubtful that Curry could pass Wilt, but is it possible that additional high-level years and titles might make it a question? Wilt still has Curry beat in RS games (1,045 to 864) and PS games (160-134), so it would take 4-5 years of high-level play to get anywhere near a point that Curry's longevity advantage would make up for Wilt's advantage in other categories, particularly defense and rebounding. Curry could beat Wilt in overall offensive impact, spacing, scoring efficiency in general, and free throw shooting in particular, but Wilt's offensive impact is still obviously great, and his defense and rebounding impact is excellent. I doubt Curry could pass Wilt for me, but unlike the four guys I listed above, it's at least a conversation.
Then the next group:
Duncan
Magic
Shaq
Hakeem
Bird
KG
Kobe
West
Oscar
Does Curry belong in that group? The answer to me is that yes, he's already in that group, and based on this thread, he's already in that group for an informal sampling of PC posters putting him toward the bottom of that group.
So how high could Curry possibly end up on the list? Assuming that he has a) additional high-level seasons; and b) 2-3 more finals runs, I could see him moving up to upper half of that group, possibly as high as 7th or 8th. It's more likely that he could end up in the 10-12 range.
Which considering his issues with defense (compared to other all-time greats) and injuries, that would be a spectacular career. There's no need to artificially inflate him into a GOAT candidate to acknowledge that he has a place among all-time greats.

If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention.

Curry is currently hovering in the mid-late teens for me. I think I expect him to wind up around #10-12, somewhat realistic ceiling of #6.
I bought a boat.

He'd need to have a second peak that eclipses his last one and be the best player in the league for a few more years, which won't happen.
