Frazier. He had decent range and could almost certainly make himself a good 3 point shooter, though probably not Price's level. He also could overwhelm opponents with both quickness and size/strength, played great defense, and gave you a lot of options that Mark Price didn't. It's sort of like a bigger and more athletic Jrue Holiday v. a slower, more controlled Damian Lilliard.

Frazier to me, defensive difference is drastic.

Not only would Walt be the better player imo but there's no way you can bet on Price's body holding up. He was just under sized and not strong enough to compensate which meant he got bounced around a lot.

Voted Frazier. He had a very accurate mid-range jumpshot and consistently shot around 82% from the line during his peak seasons. If he grew up today and practiced 3's the way everyone else does, I think he'd be competent from deep. One thing that tends to get overlooked is how strong and tough he was. In 74, his 13.1 DRB% was not only highest among all PG's, but it was better than 6-8 Connie Hawkins and 6-9 PF Bob 'Butterbean' Love. He played QB in high school and received both football and basketball scholarships to college. He said he picked basketball simply because there weren't any black QB's in football. But he brought that football toughness to the NBA, particularly in his defense and rebounding. In today's game, with more long rebounds due to the high number of 3-point attempts, his rebounding from the PG position could be an even bigger asset than it was in his own era.

Frazier pretty easily. I like the Jrue comparison. Walt had a consistent track record of playing well in the playoffs. Price does not.

Frazier. I loved Price’s game growing up, and he is probably underrated offensively, but in today’s game, he’d be mercilessly targeted on defense differently than he was in the early ‘90s. I think Frazier would develop a three point shot—those 19-20 feet pull up jumpers showed tremendous balance, and I think he’d be able to translate that to three-pointers; overall, he might not be as good offensively as Price, but he’d be a plus player on both ends and a high value piece on a contending team.

Price is one of my faves, but I would take Frazier. He’s got the size, quickness, and defensive ability to be a terror.
