What would you say was his prime if you had to choose?

He peaked in LA. I know statistically this doesn't necessarily bare out

Peaked in NO, had the meniscus removal surgery in 2010 that limited some of his explosiveness afterwards. If it wasn't that surgery, then he clearly lost some bounce somehow because if you watch old CP3 highlights he looks much quicker/athletic.

This site kills me. CP3's Clipper stint is the most disappointing part of his career.

His best seasons were in NO. His best postseason was in NO. He almost won MVP in NO.

What the hell did he do in LA that he didn't do before? Nothing. He never could've carried those Hornets teams.

Clippers, I think Paul became more a poised player on both sides of the floor at that point.

Saw some good points regarding how his sheer offensive value (validated with his tendencies in film) was better as a Hornet pre meniscus surgery - which I may be able to subscribe to.

With that said, he definitely became a more polished shooter as a Clipper to compensate for worse basket / rim pressure. It comes down to more of a production vs skill conversation determining his offensive apex.

Regardless of what DBPM may say, I think he certainly peaked higher as a defender in Los Angeles furthermore.

And as one final piece, I actually am in the camp that 2015 Paul had a better MVP / POY case than he did in 2008 (compared to Curry & James vs. Bryant James & Garnett)
