His durability is truly exceptional, I think that puts him in the top 5 zone.

Is that a fact.
I suppose he wouldn't be playing in every game either, despite the fact that he pretty much did during his entire career, even into his late 30s.You’re going way beyond what peak is supposed to mean with this “11 seasons” stuff.
Fine, you pick which of his seasons were his peak.Of course Malone has had more value over their careers
Again with the careers. No one here has mentioned a player's career other than you.but if you ask who was bettter and more likely to take your team to a title, no Malone would not be a better choice than Giannis or Jokic.
Easy call for Giannis as he has a title.
But what has Jokic ever done?? In 7 seasons he hasn't gotten to a Finals and to just one WCF. Malone went to 2 Finals, lost both times to arguably the best ever player in league history, no shame in that. Compared to that Jokic has done literally nothing. Malone is a far better choice than Jokic.
It's a fact that 2023 is different from the time Karl Malone played. So unless you think coaching hasn't changed at all or you think Malone will be a player-coach he probably is not 40 minutes per game for every single game of the year.
Load management is a necessity because today's players are injury prone. Its not a basketball strategy. So if Karl Malone never missed a game what reason would a coach have to load manage him?
Or is it that you think he would get injured too because of 3 pointers or whatever?

I voted Top 5 but I think Malone is a weird case where you could make a reasonable arguments for #10 to #1.
He's too big and strong for most current "smaller" wings and too quick and skilled for bigger, longer defenders which leads me to believe he's closer to top 3 or #1.

Kinda goes both ways, if you think Malone is only playing 75 games & 37 minutes a game, then how much better is he playing with the rest and increased focus? If he isnt going to play better with less of a workload, then why do that?
