Who's the better player - considering both offense and defense? Peak and 5-year prime.

They had the same peak but Scottie had the better 5 year prime. PG's 2019 season with OKC is wildly underrated because he got injured near the end.

I more or less agree.
I don't think Scottie Pippen had a season that's definitely as good as '19 George.......at least in the rs. Once the ps is added into consideration, I think Pippen has at least a couple seasons that are comparable.

Best five seasons skews more definitively in Pippen's favour, imo. '19 is somewhat an outlier for George [or at least, it's the excessively clear peak for him], whereas there's room for debate on Pippen's peak: '94 or '92? with '96 being more or less right there, too. '95 is not far behind either.

Pippen's overall longevity is obviously still superior, too.

And even if some it is related to luck, Pippen's obviously got far more team success to his credit.
