Top 10 Seasons between Curry/West

How would you rank the top 10 seasons between Curry/West from 1-10?

I'll be a little contrarian and say I think that West was actually the better player but I think the 3pt shot in today's game allows shooters to warp offense more than they could in West's day but even then West could put more pressure on a defense near the paint and was likely a much more impactful defensive player. I think West in today's game is better than Steph. Having said that regarding eras I'd still have to consider having West's best season above Steph but overall I think Steph is more dominant relative to era. May do an actual top 10 later if I have more time to dedicate.

If steph is more dominant than west in this era, then he's more dominant in any era. Perimter defenders and defenses are much better now

If steph is more dominant than west in this era, then he's more dominant in any era. Perimter defenders and defenses are much better now

You are making a subjective judgement imo that the level of defense now is so much better than it was in West's era that it more than makes up for having a 3 pt shot that when shot at 42%=63% from a shot in West's day along with whatever spacing advantage it creates for a team when they have a guy who can shoot 3 the way Curry can. I don't agree with that premise. Not that its a ridiculous opinion to hold but I just don't agree with it.
