Well deserved!
Should have been MVP but got Finals MVP instead
Got a ring before Embiid..

Embiid is no comparison for Jokic at this point, it's top5 alltime career trajectory to follow in the next years.

Embiid had never been better than Jokic this year. The only reason he won MVP was 1) voter fatigue, and 2) Jokic didn’t care anymore after locking up the #1 seed

Jokic had one of the best regular seasons of all time this year. Embiid is a great player but it’s a travesty he didn’t win the MVP. Cheapens the award.
Now that's the difference between first and last place.

Shame a center who's defensively as bad as Jokic will never be able to win a championship.

What a season, what a player.

It's a shame about the MVP but I think he's the PROHIBITIVE favorite for it next year, after what he just did in the Playoffs the voters will be eager to rectify their mistake.

Right. And I feel like he will be right back, impact and production wise, to inadvertently (from Jokic’s view) make a phenomenal case for the award.

Yeah I honestly don't see anyone who can take it off him besides maybe Giannis but I'd honestly take Jokic over the field going into the '24 season for the award.

Could see Tatum and Luka having strong traction as well, but I think Jokic should be in the driver-seat - odds-wise - all offseason.

Luka and the elusive healthy Zion are the two biggest threats next season I'd guess. League is always hungry for new guys to win it.

Just noticed Jokic already has more 30ppg playoff series in his career than Bird (4 vs 2), though I am more surprised at how low Bird is even knowing his postseason dropoffs. Luka and Giannis also has 4 each.

Bird had a LOT more help around him than Jokic.

And now... the NBA must be a little pissed. Dude is like an anti star that outplays every star. He is a big man, so his game isn't that relatable to most people at all.

Gotta love how it is all basketball related. Let's see what Jokic brings next year and if they can repeat. He's been a joy to watch.

Did anyone ask Perkins how he feels about the playoffs stat padding? Dude literally lead in PTS RBS and AST. Shameful stat padding
