Prime and healthy, which trio do you prefer?

If I'm stuck with either core and can't move any of them for complementary pieces, then it's the first trio. If I have that liberty, then it's the first trio by a lot. I'd move Luka for a bevy of 3&D guys. Curry and Jokic is as good of a 2 man core as you can get.

I skew towards defense a bit here. Embiid/Giannis/Durant is scary. They locking down everything. But would have to see who I could get as a lead guard

The defensive trio has too many questionable personalities to risk taking them over the other trio which is going to stampede the league anyhow. I mean Jokic + 1 borderline top 20 player+role players just won a title. Give him Steph and Luka now instead and what do you expect to happen? So long as Luka is ok with taking a lesser role it would take Wemby becoming an mvp and teaming up with Giannis + another top 15 player to have a chance of beating them.
