Well Dirk/Jokic give you hilarious historic offense but there are some weaknesses to attack. It's going to be a very meh defensive frontcourt that will be weak against rim pressure and quickness. Not damningly bad, but both of these guys at their best were paired with defensive support characters (Gordon/Brown/KCP and Chander/Marion/Kidd).

KG and Duncan don't give you hilarious historic offense, but the offense is still going to be good. Then there's just no holes here. The defense will be the hilarious historic part. Dual rim protectors with switchability and ATG defensive IQs? This would be the best defensive frontcourt ever (better than Sheed/Ben, Thurmond/Wilt, and Duncan/Old Admiral). Both players can pass, screen, post, and KG can stretch. Pair them with even meh attacking guards and you have an offense than can shred people.

How is Garnett's postseason resume weaker than Jokic so far? Or even Dirk?

Open basketball-reference and look.
Jokic doesn't have the volume yet, but his averages and accomplishments are through the roof, FAR ahead of KGs. I mean winning a chip and FMVP without all-stars (and HOFs lol) is already a lot more impressive than kg's weak crap of a PO resume. Jason Terry ahs better PO resume than kg.

Thank you, I didn't know that Basketball-Reference exists...

Garnett won the title as the best player on a team. He went to the finals another time and to CF 2 more times (once with Boston, once with Minnesota). You have no idea what you're talking about.

Yeah, in one of those Finals he got embarrassed by Pau Gasol, career second violin, and in the other finals he was the 3rd option behind Pierce and Allen, hiding from the ball in 4q, that's why he didn't get his fmvp...

Gasol was a great player.
Garnett was Celtics best player in 2008 finals and during the whole season.

Is this another time when someone can't get beyond scoring numbers?

If only Medbrat went to basketball-reference.com and looked at something other than scoring

In today's NBA, definitely Dirk/Jokic. KG/Duncan would overcrowd the paint, and they would be diminishing each other on the offensive end. The defense would be amazing, but the offense would struggle a lot.

Dirk/Jokic on offense would be unstoppable.
