I always forget...as learned and brilliant as you are, you actually don't think the NBA has gotten substantially better & more difficult to dominate over the decades. In a somewhat non linear fashion (e.g., mid 70's were very weak, mid 90's)

It's very, very surprising, given your vast background (in both common sense and basketball history acumen).

When did I say I don't think that way? I always say the league got better and better with time and we have never seen as talented league as now before.

I wonder why you voted for Wilt Chamberlain as the GOAT if you are so attached to this idea though, that's an interesting thing to discuss.

I'd say I generally dock the 68-70 years by about 30%, 71-73 years by 20% and the 74-76 years by about 10% in terms of how I value seasons done there.
