Off the top of my head, Eddie Jones is my very clear top 1, a tier ahead of the rest (except Klay, if he counts), with Shane Battier and Robert Covington rounding my top 3. Then come guys like Bruce Bowen, James Posey, PJ Tucker and KCP.

I don't view Iguodala as a 3&D guy.
This place is a cesspool of mindless ineptitude, mental decrepitude, and intellectual lassitude. I refuse to be sucked any deeper into this whirlpool of groupthink sewage. My opinions have been expressed. I'm going to go take a shower.

Even as early as 1983-1984, Cooper stood out as a 3-and-D guy. He had a .220 three-point attempt rate, which was far and away the highest for any rotational player in the league at the time. I don’t think anyone else even broke .200 or .175.

I think including guys like Kawhi and PG (even younger versions of them) is kind of cheating. Even before they hit their stride they were doing more than a guy like Battier.

I'm fine with disqualifying young players who became stars, but I think those first 2 seasons of Kawhi did not feature him doing more than a guy like Battier. He was definitely a bigger force on the boards than Battier, but he was averaging under 10 shots per game and his role in San Antonio was strictly: shoot corner 3s, attack the offensive glass a bit, and cut. In year 3 they started letting him post up a little more and I think the versatility and athletic power were too obvious in 2014 to call him a 3&D guy.

With Paul Geroge I agree completely. The first season he could shoot (year 2) he was also doing a lot more with the ball in his hands.

But let's remember rookie Shane Battier was actually playing a big role in the offense in Memphis.

Names off the top of my head (not checking their USG% to make sure they qualify stated parameters).....

Shane Battier has to be near the top.
Danny Green pretty much right up there with him. Maybe the top two???

Also....
Bruce Bowen
Trevor Ariza
Bryon Russell
KCP
PJ Tucker
Royce O'Neale
Raja Bell
Jaren Jackson Sr.

There's got to be so many others worth mentioning that I'm just forgetting.
