Who was the better player during their 4 year Prime Stretch, and why? Mcgrady from 2001 to 2004 or Ginobili 2005 to 2008?

In last years Ginobili was most overrated SG, stat guys loving him.)
But Yeah, he was good with Argentina.

USA 2003 with Great T-Mac – Easy Won +20 in Final.
USA 2004 (Hello Tim) without Great T-Mac – lost to Argentina.
But Yeah, he was good with Argentina.

Is Tracy Mcgrady's scoring pliable towards a championship caliber roster?
If so, why when placed in other team situations where the Defensive attention was diverted away Mcgrady he seemingly struggled to put the ball in the basket?

Played 73% of his total minutes with Carter on the floor with Mcgrady
2005 Mcgrady: 25.5 per 75 on -0.3% rTS
