Peak only, which duo would you rather have?

The team with Lebron.

People forget how good LeBron/AD were in the 2020 playoffs playing in the worst possible conditions for them, i.e., open gym atmosphere against teams who shot threes much better than the Lakers did.

If you take out the garbage time minutes in the blowouts, i.e., games 1 and game 6 vs. Miami, last game vs. Houston (AD/James pairing didn’t play garbage time minutes in the other blowouts), James/AD were +17.7 on court together. This is 2020, 35 year old James.

LeBron and AD.

2009 LeBron with 2020 AD. GL trying to contain that.

James and Davis, if we're assuming health here.. though all of this applies to Kawhi as well so it could be rendered a moot point.

I think the two of their games meshes better here in spite of Jokic (imo) having the most malleable offensive skillset of the four. Also feel as if 09-13 and 16 LBJ on defense is better than any Kawhi season after 2016 (which is what peak Kawhi is), and the possibilities of having a world-beating defensive scheme anchored by those two along with a great 2-man game to build offense around with 3nD shooters, secondary handlers, etc.
