Jokic Hali would be the best offense in NBA history, I lean that way. I don't have much faith in Joel's ability to share the ball with another heavy usage superstar, and the talent in this comparison is pretty comparable (Jokic>Joel, SGA> Hali)

Defense is a thing. Also much better fit. Embid/SGA clears.

Yes Hali hasnt been in playoff yet but id be shocked if we saw playoff dropping from him specially on proven dropoff of an Embiid

That makes sense (although the Embiid/SGA pairing also really needs shooters).

Jokic's partner would have to be significantly worse than Embiid's in order for me to choose Embiid's team. I mean we just watched Embiid with Harden accomplish nothing for two years and Harden was roughly as good as SGA while Jokic had an atg playoff run ending in a ring. Its Jokic/Hali for me without thinking twice because Jokic is the best player in the nba hands down in both the rs and ps. With Embiid you expect his team to find a way to lose and lame excuses to follow.

This version of shai is clearly a level ahead of sixers harden, he plays strong plus defense while scoring and creating at elite volumes and efficiency with almost no turnovers

And by most advanced stats his impact this regular season compares roughly to jokic

Ya I don't have an issue with saying that Shai>Sixers Harden though the fit with Harden may have been slightly better. Sixers Harden isn't part of the thread though simply as a reference that he and Embiid couldn't even get out of the 2nd rd together. The gulf between Embiid and Jokic as playoff performers is just way too big here and it's not like its just last season. It's every season going back to 2020. Jokic is pretty much always great while Embiid is poor to ok with better defense.

Jokic/Haliburton would give you the greatest offense of all-time and I think taking that sort of outlier is a good idea. Just give them a bunch of 3&D players and you'd run the league.

Embiid/SGA is the more solid pairing in terms of two-way impact, but they wouldn't give you the basis of an all-time team on either side. I also think they'd get in each other's way a little bit because they have similar scoring sweetspots.
