Peak KD was prime Giannis with elite shooting

I think Giannis was slightly better in the RS.

I think you can argue for multiple seasons(19, 20 and 22) being better than KD's peak in 2014.

Not sure how the impact numbers grade those seasons.

Durant is also taller, standing at 7'3".

For a serious answer, ‘19, ‘20, and ‘22 Giannis are all clearly better regular seasons than KD has ever had.

Play quality I take Giannis by a mid size gap, availability/load makes it pretty close overall, not sure. KD was over 3100 minutes in '14 and at least over 2500 in '16. Giannis hasn't cracked 2400 minutes since Kidd was in Milwaukee (yes, some league wide changes contributing, but also Giannis is just injury prone).

Does it change if you look on PS as well?

KD was never the defender Giannis was at his peak, nor was he anywhere near the transition and rim pressure threat. The only similarity between them is that they are both very tall, lengthy, and athletic forwards.

I think peak Giannis is a bit better but if you put both in 2014 I'd probably choose KD.

I would take 2019 & 2020 Giannis over 2013/14/16 Durant in the RS; The defensive gap is just too much for me to see made up for offensively

Wat

This couldn't be less accurate. They're both tall and that's pretty much it. At no point in time was KD quite possibly the best slasher in NBA history, nor was he ever close being a DPOY level help defender (despite that pathetic media push in 2017, god damn that was embarrassing). Prime Giannis with elite shooting is the GOAT sportsman, which KD is not.
You said to me “I will give you scissor seven fine quality animation".

You left then but you put flat mediums which were not good before my scissor seven".

What do you take me for, that you treat somebody like me with such contempt?

Wound up voting Giannis, but absolutely same tier prime guys for me. Dirk/Harden/CP3/Kobe/Wade/Dray other recent guys in that same tier. Giannis/CP3/Wade all held back by injury issues. Debating with myself whether Jokic should be in that tier or fighting for a top 5 databall spot (LeBron/Duncan/KG/Curry/Shaq), with a good playoff run I'd say probably yes.

Tatum another guy sneakily applying for that 2nd tier.
