All Primes: '91 Lakers vs. '92 Blazers

Post#1 » by SelakStreet » Mon Apr 22, 2024 3:31 pm

Who would win a best of 7 with all players in their average prime condition and with 1991 rules/refs?

Prime 1991 Lakers
PG: Magic Johnson / Larry Drew
SG: Byron Scott / Terry Teagle / Tony Smith
SF: James Worthy / A.C. Green
PF: Sam Perkins / Elden Campbell / Irving Thomas
C: Vlade Divac / Mychal Thompson

Prime 1992 Blazers
PG: Terry Porter / Robert Pack / Ennis Whatley
SG: Clyde Drexler / Danny Ainge
SF: Jerome Kersey / Clifford Robinson
PF: Buck Williams / Mark Bryant / Alaa Abdelnaby
C: Kevin Duckworth / Wayne Cooper

Note: 1992 Blazers get a training camp with 1991 coaches to learn how the offense operates

… The 1992 Blazers improve a lot less from this than the 1991 Lakers do, and the Lakers beat them in their matchup. Weird question and comparison.

Were there ANY rule changes between '91 and '92?
