I’m thinking too 10 ish in that regard no one right now has a shot at the GOAT debate except Wemby who’s a 50/50 bet tbh to get the title lmfao

There are some on this board who claim he's better than Kobe.

Which I think is an insane proposition when you compare the Playoff record I just listed in the OP to someone who has done 30-6-6 on four Finals runs with three titles, never missing a single game.

defense lol. You're focusing too much on offense for a player whose defenses have improved more than his offense have dropped most postseason runs.

GOAT is just such a high bar to reach. Luka has 5 All-NBA 1st teams at 25 years old and he's not even on pace to get into the top 10. Wemby has had a strong rookie year but if he isn't a perennial MVP candidate by year 3 he'll be in the same boat.

Antetokounmpo has 1 title, was named all-NBA 1st team 6 times (2nd team twice), all-defensive 1st team 4 times, and isn't even age 30 yet. Last decade scored the 2nd most points among all players, grabbed the 3rd most rebounds, has 2 MVPs, one DPOY.

Karl Malone and Charles Barkley are two of the greatest PFs in league history, yet neither has a title. Before age 30 Malone was all-NBA 1st team 5 times, Barkley 5 times. Malone was not named to an all-defensive team until after age 30, Barkley never.

Antetokounmpo could drop off the face of the earth tomorrow and still go down as one of the greatest PFs in league history.

Which is why I’m not as down on them going all in that year as others are. Sure in hindsight it was a disaster, but it was for a shot at the title and they were clearly the best team in the league when even just moderately healthy.

Hypotheticals are hypotheticals. Kyrie has been injury prone his entire career. Giannis went on to dominate the Suns

Lebron made it to the finals with that cleveland team.

Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.
