Yea I voted for Clifton as the defensive anchor and now I wonder if Gallatin would be a better choice although his minute drop in the playoffs is making me have huge reservations about doing that. Teams don't usually cut minutes for their best performers.

Votes are tallied. I recorded 10 voters: Djoker, Trex, AEnigma, Eminence, Dutchball97, Dr. Positivity, Doctor MJ, LA Bird, ZeppelinPage, and trelos. LA Bird abstained from both OPoY and DPoY. Please let me know if I seem to have missed or otherwise improperly recorded a vote.

Mikan loses both his unanimous streaks in POY and DPOY but is still leading the way by a lot in both categories. Mikan is 1st in POY Shares currently with 3.970, 2nd is Schayes with 1.721 and Cousy is 3rd with 1.1. DPOY is an even bigger difference as Mikan leads the way with 3.956, while 2nd place Clifton has less than a full POY Share (0.842).

Meanwhile OPOY has a new leader in Cousy with 1.650 and although there are 3 others with more than 1 OPOY Share (Groza, Mikan, Davies), none of them really have a shot to catch up. Especially considering Cousy will likely only further his lead in the coming years.

I wonder how long Cousy will hold that OPOY shares lead. Oscar the obvious next challenger, but more challengers to vote split with going forward. Oscar might have a bit of a leg up on some competition in that the guy winning all the titles (Russell) won't be in the running for OPOY so tiebreakers won't be going his way in a way they may later in races like Magic vs MJ or LeBron vs Steph (just as two examples).
I bought a boat.
