Draymond Nowitzki. Adding Draymond's passing to Dirk, and then obviously his great defense, is too much to pass up. It's also impacted by the physical attributes, ie adding a few inches to Draymond's already DPOY caliber defense.

A big part of Draymonds passing is that he doesn't look to score and teams don't try to defend him. If he had any actually scoring ability his passing would not translate. If teams try to defend him he disappears. He does not have elite passing skills.

In 2022 the Celtics made the mistake of actually trying to defend Draymond a little and letting Curry go 1v1 vs the defensive player of the year. Curry destroyed them and Draymond was nonexistent.

I get you, but I think that undersells Dirk's possession economy even still. He didn't generate a lot of assists, but that USG/TOV is extremely impressive and worth considering.

Dirk Green would be so nasty... you effectively have one player who is a 7 footer, an ATG defender, and can carry a team offensively because of his elite shooting, scoring, and playmaking.

You could easily surround him with roleplayers and I could see him winning a championship.
