Peak Gasol/Gasol today
Where would peak Pau Gasol and peak Marc Gasol rank as a duo if they led a team in the 2025 NBA?

Re: Peak Gasol/Gasol today
The key part of this question for me is the reference to 2025.
Two incredible players at their peaks and pound-pound would be near the very top on individual impact (#2 on a title team + DPOY). They certainly have the offensive touch through to the mid range and passing ability that translates well. But conceptually pairing twin towers in 2024/25 just really isn''t that effective unless you add an elite swingman e.g. Ant.
If one were a true stretch big at their peak (I'm not talking set shots), then the balance would feel better when comparing them to more versatile swingman and guard/big duos who may be lesser than the Gasol peak forms but far more suitable to the style of play required to be successful e.g. Boston, Dallas, Bucks, 76ers, Denver, Wolves.
I can understand an argument for top 5, but I'm not sure I'd find it that convincing in today's league.

Re: Peak Gasol/Gasol today
It would be incredible but they would need a decent guard to have a good offense. They have very good complimentary skills but would struggle to produce a great offense without a good guard.
But a team like this
Mike Conley (Memphis version)
Austin Reaves
Aaron Nesmith
Pau Gasol
Marc Gasol
Would be a top team in the league for sure.

If you replace Marc with Pau in the 2019 Toronto Raptors championship team, would they still have won? No, I don't think so.

Depends who are their guards. But they are one good guard away from being a legit contender. Jamal Murray, for example.
