1. Tim Duncan - Best overall season. Was the offensive engine on the Spurs. Even though, Robinson does beat Duncan in some adv statistics, I do admit that Duncans minutes does play a factor in voting him over Robinson

2. Shaquille O'Neal- Probably was the best player in the regular season but didn't play well against the Spurs in the playoffs due to the combined effort of Duncan and Robinson.

3. David Robinson- arguably was the best defender in the league and was definitely was the best defender on the Spurs which was the best defensive team in the NBA. Still was an effective scorer.

4. Karl Malone- A bit worse than 97 and 98 but was still was very good. Led The Jazz to a really good offense despite being the only good scorer on the team. Wasnt good in the playoffs


5.. Alonzo Mourning- Better offensive player than KG who was inefficient scorer
