Phoenix Suns All-White vs Utah Jazz All-White

Post#1 » by durantbird » Tue Dec 24, 2024 10:23 am

Phoenix Suns All-White:
Steve Nash | Goran Dragic | Ricky Rubio
Paul Westphal | Gail Goodrich | Jeff Hornacek | Danny Ainge
Dan Majerle | Dick Van Arsdale | Grayson Allen
Tom Chambers | Aron Baynes | Dario Saric
Alvan Adams | Marcin Gortat | Jusuf Nurkic

Utah Jazz All-White:
John Stockton | Jeff Hornacek | Ricky Rubio
Pete Maravich | Gail Goodrich | Joe Ingles | Kyle Korver
Gordon Hayward | Lauri Markannen | Matt Harpring
Andrei Kirilenko | Tom Chambers | Kelly Olynyk
Mark Eaton | Mehmet Okur | Walker Kessler | Greg Ostretag

There are players who played for both, but please judge players according to their seasons in the club. E.g. Chambers/Goodrich are better as Suns players.

Do we have to start Maravich? Because I have Hornacek out there in front of him easily; Pete is used for short break energy off the bench and may not see the floor if I need defense and passing (Rubio) more than flash and creation. I'd have to check numbers to see how Chambers, Goodrich, and Korver played with the Jazz as I remember them much more clearly elsewhere.

For Phoenix, I basically go 8 deep with Gortat, Hornacek, and Dick Van Arsdale taking all the key minutes when the starters sit. Matchup favors Phoenix as Utah can't punish Suns for smaller bigs, Utah has more real difference makers.

Don't have to start Maravich. This is just a suggested depth chart
