Best? Game 1 2018 finals. The culmination of one of his greatest playoff runs. Against the #1 playoff defense. If not for that charge call, he probably wins. If JR throws it to him, he probably makes a game winning 3.

Greatest? Game 6 against Boston 2012. The pressure was insane and the 45/15/5 stat line hadn't been done in the playoffs since the 60s. And he basically did it in 3 quarters. He went from 2011 finals choke to basically a decade straight of being the most clutch playoff performer in the league (ever?) in the snap of a finger.

My personal choice? One of the last 3 against golden state. Probably game 6. Just the most dominant stretch of 3 games ever.

I think the 80% free-throw missing both free-throws after Lebron took out 2 defenders with a pass almost no one in the league can make is a bigger deal than the JR blunder tbh.

Either way, 2009 Game 1 is basically 2018 game 1 with much better defense.
its my last message in this thread, but I just admit, that all the people, casual and analytical minds, more or less have consencus who has the weight of a rubberized duck. And its not JaivLLLL

If someone wants to take 2009 game 1, I'm not gonna argue. It's amazing. I just think 2018 LeBron was some sort of basketball maestro like we've never seen. Like 2009 LeBron saw the magic come back from 20 down on both games 1 and 2. I think 2018 LeBron would have figured out out a way to not let it happen. I never thought "this guy has figured out basketball" more than watching 2018 LeBron. He wasn't the physical and defensive force of 2009 but it felt like he controlled every aspect of every game and every series like no one I've seen. And the 51/8/8 game against the #1 defense was just crazy.

I mean realistically to prevent it he'd have to figure out some way to stop dwight from murdering two bigs who couldn't jump. 09 Lebron's defense would be insane vs warriors and he was finding tighter windows plenty vs the magic tbh. Two of first three possessions he has to hit through bounce passes becuase the bigs aren't serious lob threats.

Aside from the obvious offense, the Warriors also shot 1/11 against him, including 0/4 in the paint/at the rim.

This is THE game.

He's the best, most affecting player of all time and no single game shows this more than Game 6 if the 2016 Finals. To be great at EVERYTHING, ALL AT ONCE is basically impossible.

Given the reverence of CLE's 3-1 comeback, its actually shocking how little love this game gets. Being sandwiched in-between Game 5's Lebron/Kyrie scoring explosion and everything that happened in game 7, the details of game 6 kinda gets lost. Even as it was happening, so much of our collective attention was rightly focused on the comeback... that this performance never had time to breathe. Game 6 2012 vs BOS was the exact opposite. Halfway through the 3rd you felt the "weight" of what Lebron was doing.

That Boston performance stands on its own while this performance is apart of "The Comeback"
