How many years have had a better top 2 in the regular season/the MVP race than Shai+Jokic this season?

1964 Wilt and Russell (funnily enough, neither won the award)
1977 Kareem and Walton
1989 or 1990 Jordan and Magic
2003 Duncan and Garnett
2016 James and Curry

Statistically, 2012-13 KD was a supernova, had an all time season - but since it was never really an MVP race, and the injury in the playoffs, that season gets forgotten.
