Peak Only: Giannis/Jokic vs Bird/Hakeem

Peak only, which duo would you rather have in todays NBA?

I think Bird/Hakeem is just slightly more complimentary given the spots on the floor they like to occupy and skill sets. otoh Jokic has the highest peak for today's game imo. I'd probably go with Bird/Hakeem just because I think Hakeem brings more on defense and would embrace the #2 role easier. I also was always a fan of Bird's intensity.

The defensive gap between Hakeem and Jokic is much bigger than the gap between Bird and Giannis, and at the critical rim protecting position.

Offensively, obviously Jokic and Bird draw a lot of comparisons. Jokic is better there, but I could see Bird playing more point like Jokic does today, with more of an off-ball role and probably a higher 3P volume. And today's environment also opens up what I think is a skill gap between Hakeem and Giannis...Hakeem's efficiency would jump up with the space and freedom he'd have to work with now.
