As a big proponent of bigs generally being the best players ever, outside of LeBron and Jordan as a smaller guy anomalies, and simultaneously as a guy who sees SGA as probably the most offensively flawed superstar guard of the past 10 years(Curry, CP3, Harden, Luka as direct comp), this thread is brutal to read.

I would bet serious money Walton's defense alone, would shift a game more than SGA's entire impact come playoff time. The playoff impact metrics on SGA's past run are not pretty. Alex Caruso spent the first two playoff rounds being their most impactful player by nearly every metric.

A lot of the substance of Shai's game dropped off as the playoff went on. Rim pressure, shooting gravity, on-ball defense. He wasn't really dominant.
Swinging for the fences.
