All at their peaks, which frontcourt duo would you rather have?

It's Howard and Bosh by a mile. They fit perfectly together, while I'm not even sure Zo and JO could play together today for significant minutes. I mean, they probably could, in the same way Steven Adams and Sengun could in situational match ups... but for some match ups one of them has to come off the bench, which says it all.

Jermaine at his peak was a beast, though didn't last long. He was a better defender than Bosh and better scoring near the basket. Mourning was more well rounded and a better defender than Dwight.

It's for sure Howard&Bosh
Loves Jermaine's peak but it was kind of short
Zo's offensive contribution isn't as good as the others

Howard and Bosh compliment each other with peak Dwight being the best player in the matchup

Bosh was an elite deep midrange shooter, so he fits well on the court with Howard, who utilized his physical dominance near the basket.

Can't see an argument for Zo/JO. Offense is so much worse that it's hard to conceive of their utility, especially since neither was an impressive playmaker.

At least with Howard and Bosh, Dwight can play primarily as a PnR and off-ball guy and Bosh is, by a country mile, the best iso scorer of the 4. And had any kind of range, so he could work well off his partner.

Zo and JO easily. Dwight automatically tanks the offense with his selfishness and terrible passing. Bosh is great, but he's handicapped by the albatross around his neck known as Dwight Howard.

Zo and JO are monstrous defensively. On offense, their volume should come down and efficiency should go up. Honestly, they'd be a top-5 defensive frontcourt pairing of all-time.

Maybe but for late 90s- early to mid 00s period, that'd fit like a glove and dominate the inside for sure. Shaq had Horace, who was a very good role playing PF and Mourning with him next to him would've been horrendous for opposing frontcourts.
