Im not sure any current NBA team could score 90ppg on a team with DRob and Russell. We are talking about 8-9 blocks/3-5 steals every game and the 2 best rebounders in the league. Both have guard skills in the current NBA and both more athletic than any current player that they may face. Both very good passers and both are spacers. They would crash the offensive boards for easy putbacks and create an electric fast break that increases team FG% to more than compensate for Russells shooting.

I have seen video of Russell leading the fast break ala Magic splitting the trap and firing a no look pass to a cutter for a layup. His leadership would turn DRobs weaknesses into strengths. His will to win/clutch play and belief

I most certainly as a guard would love to play with DRob/Russell. I would gamble all the time on defense and always be open for a corner 3. layups from cutting back door and I can score at will on the FT line since they are getting us into the bonus early every qtr.

I don't see Russell as a spacer at all. I just think he's so good at the defensive side of the game that he doesn't need to be a strong offensive player and his offense (connective or hub passing and rolling to the rim) would be . . . adequate most likely.
