Who is the best player right now for Toronto? How would you rank the four?

Also really like CMB but he's probably not among the top 4 YET

I don't like any of them, but if I had to rank them on a scale of flawed to toxic, then I would say:

Ingram

Quickley
Barnes
RJ

I think building your team around guys like this is a good way to get stuck in mediocrity. I like Quickley the most of the last 3 because even though his skillset is overrated, at least it is functional enough to fit on a good team without messing things up too much.

Actually, shut up. We are literally the 3rd seed in the conference, meanwhile outside of Wembumyama, your team is completely pathetic.

Meanwhile all 4 of these guys are legitimate all-stars, 3 of them All-NBA teamers. Just don't speak about the Raptors like that when you haven't looked at your own franchise, the Spurs

I never said I was a Spurs fan. I think it's way too early to get too excited about Toronto.

You act like a Spurs fan, with having agendas pushing TD and Kawhi, lowering Kobe all the time.

Right now
Barnes
Ingram
Quickley
Barrett

Barnes is playing like an all star. With the drop in usage due to having Ingram on the team he's back to being more efficient (when he made his all-star team). His energy is notably higher on defense while also being stronger/ a better finisher. Remains to be seen if his shooting improvement is real but free throw % is up to 81% and that's generally a good indicator of improved shooting. Really like how he's been playing. Just like a super Lamar Odom/ Shawn Marion type utility player. Would rather have better high usage players around him obviously but he's in a great spot/ role right now. He isn't being over burdened and just filling in the gaps highlighting his strengths.

The other 3 are close. Stats say Quickley but if you talk to most Raptors fans they are most nervous about him since he's not really a lead guard. But solid defensively + can shoot and can score/ create a little is a nice skill set. Once again he would also fit better next to someone like a Luka much like Scottie Barnes.

Ingram and Barrett are like the same. Both high usage wing scorers who aren't that efficient overall but because of their skill set on the right night can have 30+ on super efficient scoring and look unstoppable. Ingram has historically been a better defender and has made an all-star team so I have him above. Both aren't really players that you'd love to have on a super high level team but they play such a valuable position. Decent wings are really hard to find.

Offensively Ingram is the best player. Overall Barnes is the best player. So those two can flip flop based on what you want. RJ is a great offensive playet now and does nothing defensively like at all. Quickley is the smallest of the all and is decent on both sides but is the most replaceable of the lot. So, I have to say 1. Barnes, 2. Ingram, 3. Barrett, 4. Quickley
