Even though nobody will vote Nate because he's hated by almost everyone, it's really not that far off. Give Nate the minutes McCants get and he'll probably be if not the same then better. btw, for a little guy .. Nate is a good rebounder, you know how many times he's outrebounded Curry??

LOL Y U MAD THO?

mitchell robinson has blocked zion williamson 3 times as of 7/6/19.

Shad is a 2 guard with many offensive moves who is basically in his second season (due to microfracture) and is starting to put consistancy together. With his standing reach (equal to Grangers) he does not have a "size problem"
Long term Shad, but Nate will likely be one of the top back-up pg's in the league and a fan favorite.

Nate is 4-5 inches taller than Earl Boykins, so he's far from being another gimmick. Boykins has no hops while Nate is one of the top athletes in the league today. His height hasn't held him back at all either. I haven't seen much of RM, but I've watched Nate plenty and he's an offensive force that can change the tempo of a game against any team.

lol ask the last 6 teams the Knicks played if Nate is a gimmick. The guys has had a spectacular Assist to turnover ratio the past few games. I have never seen Shad play so I'm not comparing, but Nate is simply the truth.
I know you guys have him on your top 10 most hated list, but the guys is a straight baller.
Definitely top 5 in terms of athleticism in the NBA. Lately he has really been our key. He gets anywhere he wants to on the court, he rebounds well and shoots the 3 well. Shad may ultimately win because of his height, but Nate is far from a gimmick.

I did that,
But I have been a mccants fan since High school. I have also been a Nate fan since college. If I was a gm I would love to have nate as my back-up pg. I simply do not see a sub 5'9 pg 180lbs pg's being effective 30-35min a game for 82 games. But if he is in that 10-15min roll he can just go for broke and be a game changer.
I know Nate gets a bum angle for being a head case, but my bigger concern would be that as a pg he does not play like a point guard. I have not seen legit pg skills out of him. Thus it is harder for a team to develop a game plan with him.
McCants had the microfracture. So this is his first year with a healthy body. He has shown an extremly well rounded offensive game. He will have an easier time finding a roll as a startering 2 then Nate will as a 1. Also, McCants has shown a very good playmaking and passing ability that we have not see in the past.
There are more NY posters then Min posters, NY is a bigger market. i know all this. But as good as Nate has been this year and as effective as he will continue to be, McCants is just a better player right now with a higher ceiling.

I am a huge fan of both of these players...Nate Robinson may be the perfect back-up PG...Him and Telfair are pretty perfect as huge energy players off the bench....bad thing is, anything more than this and they are easily game planned against and turned negative...Rashad McCants has an unstoppable offensive game....but he makes a lot of dumb decisions on the court as well...
I'll take McCants by a long shot, he's a legit starter in this league.

Wow, what a great post.
-Shad is not a "(Please Use More Appropriate Word)" "hot head" he is actually a cool guy. I very good friend of mine that I work with has had supper with him a couple times. He is just intense when he plays. But he is a really cool guy.
-Also his standing reach (better measurement than literal height since you do not shoot with your head) is equal to Grangers. He is not short for his position.
