I already posted on this thread, i know but I have to repeat; Antawn Jamison. I'm not even a fan or anything, but clearly that guy has the ability to light up the scoreboards in a hurry and sustain it throughout a game.. He's not the best scorer in the world, but with his versatility, and his speed for a big man, and all around offensive game, he has the most potential in my opinion of putting up 50 on any given night. Only Dirk comes close.

Jamison put up 51 in consecutive games back in 00-01; he can get hot in a hurry; he is on the list by default, since he's actually done it before... in consecutive games, no less, which is very rare. He had a 48-point game last year and he's cracked 30 points 5 times already this year, and has a 41-point game in there. He can definitely do it, it's just been a while since he last did. With Arenas out, he's definitely got a better opportunity now than with Gilbert in the game. He has only had 14 games with 20+ FGA so far this year, though, so I don't know if he'll have the chance this year.

how many players in the 80's, 90's, and now, have done that?..Jordan and Kobe? that's pretty great company for Jamison..

Dirk has done it 3 times: 50 vs Suns in playoffs 06, 51 vs GS, 53 vs Houston

Amare has done it once: 50 against Portland

Boozer hasn't achieved it yet. (Career high 41)

Bosh hasn't yet (career high 42)

Jefferson has a good chance too, especially when he plays against Amare

KG could probably do it, but you'd need to run an offense through him possession by possession. Same applies for duncan.

Bosh is really shaping up to be more of a volume scorer than he's ever been. With ford out, a lot more offense has been running through him and he's been especially good so far in January after having a pretty bad december:
