How is Deron Williams not third?

19 ppg, 9 assists, 3 boards, a steal, best shooting PG in the league at nearly 52% from the floor and 40% from 3.

Calderon is actually a tad better from deep and free throw line, 51 from the field, 42 from deep and 90 from the line.

I have him 4 on my list and rising. But Billups deserves the spot ahead of him because he's leading a better team.

When people first told me that apg isn't a good stat to measure passing/ballhogging etc, I thought they were crazy. But the fact that Jamaal Tinsley is averaging more assists than 3 elite PGs (Baron, Parker, Chauncey) verifies that claim. Tinsley isn't anywhere near as good as his assists indicate.

Check yourself before you wreck yourself, Nash is shooting better %s on a better team, Calderon although not putting up as impressive numbers is also shooting as well or better.

Anyone who has Kidd over Billups really needs to look at the stats, yes his 10.5 assists are impressive and hes a great rebounding guard but hes shooting 37% from the field and only averaging 11 points per game on the Nets where Billups is leading one of the (if not the) best team in the East right now with great defense and making plays for his team to win.

Kidds near triple double numbers are not very impressive when you look at the record and the fact that a player that has the ball in his hands that much should not be averaging just 11 points per game.

Where is Anthony Carter on all of these lists? He has easily been a top 20 PG this year, IMO.

you have Tinsley twice on that list. He must be really awesome.

You also don't have Antonio Daniels on the list. I'd definately take him over some of those guys you had in later position especially with his assist to turnover ratio and how well his team does when hes in the game this season. He's run the engine that is the princeton offense and has coaching written all over him.
