I remembered it was in a Chris Paul Vs. Jason Kidd thread, so I just skimmed back a few pages till I found it.

By idiots maybe... ones who think hes a top 10 player...

Baron's becoming dangerously close to becoming underrated, especially with some of the idiocy and matter-of-factness being thrown around these PC boards... I just had to see it for myself...

Baron's still a franchise player... Paul's a better one... but Baron makes the Warriors go, his unique set of skills and physical ability are extremely tough to match, and if his jumper is falling, he's a lot harder to stop than CP3...

Paul is playing better... but saying Baron is the most overrated player is just too much hyperbole..

That's actually not too far-fetched. He's definitely a top 10 player this year, or at least very close. Just check the player rankings on nba.com. Pretty much everyone agrees he is a top 8-12 mvp candidate.

And to the person who said Baron is the most overrated player in the league- Baron is top 5-10 in several statistical categories, and has accomplished an abundance of statistical feats in his career or this year.
To me, the most overrated "award" goes to Brandon Roy by a long shot.

Baron's definitely overrated..there are people that claim he's the best PG in the NBA every week..

last year is especially funny..he was shooting %'s similar to Jason Kidd's last year, and everyone's hate for Kidd's shooting is well-documented..the worst part is that he took double the amount of shots that Kidd took..

he has the lowest TS% and eFG% out of all the elite PG's this season, other than Kidd, who is a bad shooter..he's overrated..

No. That actually explains why his % isn't that great. He takes a lot of difficult shots. Jason Kidd is taking mostly wide open shots. That's where the difference is. You have to be on drugs if you think that Baron's shot is as bad as Kidd's.

It's really really not.

It's like no matter what Chris Paul does, he always gets lumped with inferior PG's.

I don't see it neither..Paul and Nash are on their own level as far as PG's go IMO..don't let it annoy you NO..I guess CP3 just needs to start taking some stupid fadeaway 3's to get recognized..running the O of the team with the best record in the West and playing smart basketball isn't good enough these days..

Chris Paul, but ... it's not as far as it seems.
Chris Paul is amazing, but so is Baron.. so yeh...
But i'd choose Paul cause of his age.

Paul is elite... Baron is semi-elite... but when you get to this level, being slightly better is magnified... its stupid to see people argue over the semantics, and by stupid, I mean hilariously entertaining :D

CP3.

But when Baron is on, which isn't consistently, he is up there with the best PG's in the game, no question.
