Comparable players except that Hedo is much more aggressive and assertive on offense as well as defense, he attacks the basket in higher frequency and hustles for loose balls. Even without the ugly contract of Lewis I'll still pick Hedo ahead of him, but Lewis butt-ugly contract does play a big factor therefore Hedo>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Lewis.

Shard has opened things up for a him a bit more, but any other three point threat would have done the same thing.
No, you are wrong. Teams have to cover Shard with their better forward defender, thus giving Hedo easier matchups. Shard is a huge reason for Hedo's success. You have to look beyond the stats. Shard takes the better defender and then is unselfish enough to let Hedo take advantage of it. Shard does not get enough credit for Hedo's strong year.

Do you even watch Magic games? You are plainly wrong, Hedo always get the opponents best defender put on him. So I really don't get why you came to that conclusion.

I watch almost all Magic games and this is not true. Here in the last week or so teams have started to put their best defender on Hedo, but that hasn't been the case most of the year.

Dude seriously...you are so wrong in thinking that. Oh well I don't feel like arguing something that is so apperant.

Yes, with such damning evidence and flawless logic, Cammo cannot help but concede in the face of your masterful response...
Ok then how about this: why on earth would an opposing team put their best defender on Lewis? Who is basically a spot up shooter, dissapears mostly when the game hits the halfway point and is passive as hell. And then we have Turk who not only has better stats in every catogory, but is the guy who the Magic rely on to get the winn in the 4th. Hedo is also a better slasher, ball dribbler and passer. This has been the case since the beginning of the season. For example Pierce was defending Hedo in the first Celtics-Magic game, the second and third. Prince was defending Hedo in the first Pistons-Magic game, the second (granted, in this game Hedo was running circles around Prince so they had to put other players on Hedo) and the third game.

Now that's an actual post! With thought and reasoning!
My point was not to disagree with the idea that the opposition puts the best defender on Hedo, but only to call to light how weak an "argument" you made before.

gotcha, It's just that I was baffled that somebody who is following the Magic could say such a thing.
He's just trying to justify the awful signing of Rashard Lewis, with Hedo on board and clearly outplaying Lewis in every category, Lewis presence is pretty much redundant for the Orlando Magic(who could really use a real PF and a sold PG at this point) the fact remains many are still in denial about Lewis and his role on the team, the Magic winning games are somewhat easing the pain but that could change in time.
