Scola for me, though i am going only by how they played in europe, but still, Scola has more skills, Varejao brings more energy, but thats about it.

BTW Adelman sucks TBH.

Scola. At least he has some skill. Varejao is only energy and size.

Scola. He's being misused on the Rockets because of Yao Ming. Notice that Scola plays very well when Yao is out. That's not a coincidence. On a team that already has a post scorer like the Rockets, I would rather have Varejao.

Varejao has better defense and is a better rebounder. Scola obviously has more offensive skills.

Varejao is a better rebounder/defender... Scola is better offensively

I really have only gotten limited viewings of Scola, but I think most of you underestimate the impact of Varejao. Bottom line is that he makes the team better.
