Post#1 » by legacyinthemakin89c » Fri Feb 1, 2008 6:11 pm

What would you guys think the outcome of this matchup would be, and all of these players are in their primes....

Celtics:
Gary Payton/Pete Maravich
Ray Allen/Dominique Wilkins
Larry Bird/Dominique Wilkins
Kevin Garnett/Bob Mcadoo
Bill Russel/Theo Ratliff

Bucks:
Gary Payton/Jon Barry
Oscar Robertson/Jon Barry
Alex English/Steve Mix
Moses Malone/Eric Montross
Kareem Abdul Jabbar/Eric Montross

I'm in a simleague with these two teams and I just wanted to know which one you guys thought would fair better.

Celtics wannabes should take this. Better outside shooting (English and Oscar both liked to work their men down low), Bucks have Oscar and Payton who play similar roles offensively, and . . . while I'm not thrilled with a wing lineup where Nique tries to guard 2's, I'm really really not thrilled with an inside lineup where Eric Montross tries to play against HOF talent.

Well its based on a salary cap, and for the Bucks, Kareem and Moses are both playing 44 minutes a game because thats what their minutes allow, so Montross only has to play 8 minutes a game.

And I would definitely get Walton on Boston if I could afford him, but I couldn't...
