wallace can pretty much do EVERYTHING.

Wallace can score with the best of them if he was used so.
Wallace can play the best man defense out of all of them
Wallace is a shot blocker, stealer, great passer , good rebounder.

he basically takes what smith and ak do, and add ++'s across the stat sheet.

I'm sick and tired of people fawning over Wallace's man D. His help D is very nice, his man d is NOT GOOD. I watched it really carefully because I thought this guy could be the next Pippen. But he can't. He gambles CONSTANTLY, and is caught out of position too often. He's a mediocre man defender nowadays. Used to be much better before he fell in love with chasing the ball.

Smith is just as good at stealing, better at passing, better at rebounding, and a MUCH better shotblocker. Next argument.

Gotta be Smith. He is younger and has a higher ceiling than either of those guys. I'm glad most around here realize Smith is much mroe than just a highlight machine. He has excellent court vision, quick hands, and has also shown strides with his FG%. AK is a very distant 3rd.

Gerald Wallace is simply the better player at this point, but Smith does have the potential to overtake him at some point. AK used to be probably the best of the 3, but now I don't know what happened to him, and he's #3 on this list.

Wallace. He has more of an offensive identity right now imo. They're all great help defenders, Smith probably having the slight advantage, and rebounders.

Overall, Gerald Wallace. Most skilled offensive player seperates him.

I've seen and heard conflicting things about Gerald's man/on-ball defense, so come away thinking he's inconsistent there, and it not being a strength. Also can't really expend much energy there with the offensive role and the shotblocking and rebounding he does.

He does need to be more refined in going for steals and blocks.

you guys realize wallace is only 3 yers older than smith right??

still smith could be better in the long haul.... but right now imo it is wallace his game is progressing nicely and his outside shot has really came around.

3 years is a lot of time when you consider how young Josh Smith is.

Not to mention he's already as efficient as Wallace. Josh Smith's ceiling is ridiculous

Magic you're talking about an important three years. Smith is on Wallace's level and he's jsut 22. Wallace is 25 and probably is jsut about maxed out. Smith will probably continue to improve for the next 3-4 seasons. That is incredible when you consider how effective he is at 22.
