Bynum. No questions asked. Period.

Bynum is a rock solid C who was just flat out dominating out there before the injury. He has the second highest Eff per 48 mins behind only Amare. He also had one of the highest PERs at the C spot.

They're completely different players with completely different roles at completely different stages in their career.

Bynum unquestionably has more value. He's a young center with fabulous per minute numbers. He's on his way to being a top 5 center (if he isn't already).

That said, there are some teams who could better utilize Jamison's skills right now rather than Bynum's. And there are some teams who would better utilize Bynum rather than Jamison. The Wizards, for example, are better off with Jamison if we're talking about right now.

I don't think there is a team out there right now besides Orlando that would take Jamison over Bynum this season. With Bynum, the Lakers gave up 100ppg. Without Bynum, the Lakers are giving up 108ppg.

If I were trying to win a championship this year, I'd take Jamison. He's a slightly better player right now. But in the future, there's no doubt I take Bynum.

I don't agree. Bynum is a game changer out there both offensively and defensively. People talk about his amazing FG% but the Lakers were successful because Bynum was the anchor of out paint defense. He was letting no one score inside when he was in there.

Efficiency, PER, stats, team successful, center position all give the advantage to Bynum.

While what you're saying isn't too farfetched, you still can't see clearly through those purple and gold glasses.

Jamison is the better player right now, he's having his best season ever and he's improved on defense even though he's still not great in that regard.

Bynum is a game changer on offense and defense. I've seen plenty of Jamison because I still follow Caron Butler.

Jamison just doesn't have the impact that Bynum does.
